District Attorney for Rogers, Mayes and Craig Counties

Matt is a fourth-generation Oklahoman and a native of Rogers County. He grew up in Oologah and graduated from Claremore High School. Since 2015, Matt has served as the elected District Attorney for Oklahoma District 12, which includes Rogers, Mayes, and Craig Counties. Prior to his election as District Attorney, Matt served as the city attorney for the City of Claremore and represented numerous other public entities. He is the two-time president of the Oklahoma District Attorneys’ Association and was appointed to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics Commission by Governor Stitt. He attended the University of Oklahoma for undergraduate and law school. Matt is active in the Claremore community along with his wife, Traci, and their three children.
