Natalie Dorsett

Educator

Natalie is a certified teacher with 27 years of experience in education, including 13 very rewarding years at an alternative high school/DAEP in Burnet, TX. She was recognized as Quest High School Educator of the Year for 2002-03, 2008-09 and 2012-13, and was the recipient of the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence. Born and raised in Lovington, New Mexico, Natalie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in both elementary and secondary education in English from the College of the Southwest. She went on to Eastern New Mexico University to obtain a Master of Education in Reading and a Principal Certification from Tarleton State University.

Natalie and her husband are very involved in the Claremore community and have two children and five grandchildren.
